Hello, my name is Luke Fritsche. I am a junior at Telluride High School, and I have the great privilege of going on a pinternship this summer. I come from Dallas Texas and have lived in Telluride for about 2 and a half years now, and in that time it has shaped my life in numerous and incredible ways. One of which was Pinhead. Throughout my life, STEM has always been a huge interest for me. From Mark Rober to Kiwi Kits to now, engineering and science has had a major influence on me. My interest in aerospace engineering came from years of constantly being fascinated by all things space and aeronautics, mixed with my love for the learning process and working on building projects.
Outside of STEM, I have numerous other interests. I love to ski, so much so that I teach the little ones at Telski in the winters. I also love to read, hike, and fish. I play soccer during the fall for my school team, and spend a lot of time in the summer playing a ton of tennis, volleyball, and basketball for fun with my friends. Aside from that, I also participate in Young People’s Theatre at the Sheridan in Telluride.
I can’t wait for my Pinternship this summer, and hope to contribute and learn as much as I can from the experience.
