This week we had the Tech Trek girls here. Tech Trek is a program for incoming 8th-grade girls that are selected by their science teachers to participate. It includes girls from all over California. They stay on campus for a week and participate in STEM activities to help show that they can get a degree in any of those fields, and what they can do with it. We had 80 girls split into five groups that learn coding, aerospace, marine science, and math. I assisted with the marine science girls along with my fellow co-workers. It was an eventful and full week. Thank you, Pinhead!
