Hello! My name is Maria Camacho. I am currently a junior at Norwood Public High School. This summer I will be a Pintern at the University of Houston in Houston Texas for Chemistry. I am super exited to be able to work with Professor Baldelli and his team!
I am hoping to study forensic science upon graduating high school, with the plan to go into being a forensic science technician. To learn more about Criminal Justice I intern at San Miguel Sheriffs office. There I am able to learn so much interesting stuff! In school I am the student council presid
ent and an active member in the national honor society at my school. I strive to help my peers whenever I get the chance and to be a voice for the students that I represent.
Outside of School I am an active member of the community volunteering with Norwood Fire Protection District. I just finished wild land academy and am hoping to become a medical interpreter for the EMT’s. Majority of my time is spent doing volunteer work at the fire house. I also love spending time reading comics and spending time with my family and friends. I have an unusual obsession with fugglers and enjoy researching about cold cases in my free time.
