Hi! I’m Brylea Butler. I am currently a junior at Norwood High School. This summer I will be an intern through Pinhead at University of Houston in Houston, Texas. I am so excited to work with Professor Miljanic in his chemistry lab.

I have loved science for as long as I can remember. In the future I want to work in the medical field as a pediatric nurse. As of now I hold my CNA and work part time at the local medical center. I also spend my free time working as a volunteer EMS provider. I find it so fulfilling when I can help those around me.

Outside of school I enjoy spending time outdoors, working with my animals, and traveling. I often go hiking or rock hounding with my family and friends. Right now, I am spending a lot of time working with my horse Willow to get her ready to move cows. I have traveled all over the country for FFA, from driving to Washington DC for a leadership conference to Indianapolis for national convention. I love being able to see all the history that each place holds from the huge cities to the little farming towns. And I’m so excited to add another city to list of ones I have explored!

After graduation from my CNA class.

A stop at the Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo.

Me on my Filly Willow.
