Hello! I am Jackson McCabe, I am a junior currently attending Nucla High School in Colorado. This summer I will be going on a one week history internship to Washington DC to work with the Smithsonian Museums. I chose to pursue a Smithsonian internship because it offers a unique opportunity to engage directly with world-class collections, research, and public education. The Smithsonian’s commitment to preserving history, advancing knowledge, and making it accessible to diverse audiences aligns closely with my own interests and goals.
I am a very involved person in my school. I am apart of National Honors Society, Student Council, FFA, and on top of that I am a four sport athlete, football, wrestling, track and baseball.
During the summers I like to work on our family farm, go on road trips and go to wrestling camps.
