Flying over Montrose, CO.

My name is Evan Stogner and I am a Junior at Telluride High School. I am super grateful for this amazing opportunity to be doing an internship with Pinhead. As of today, March 22, we are waiting to hear back about my internship and are crossing fingers for a good response.

Since I was young I have been interested in learning about machines and how they work from the mechanical side to the electronic side and everything in-between. I discover planes somewhere along the way when I was about ten years old and have been hooked ever since. To this day I enjoy learning all I can about how things work. My favorite thing to research is aviation. I love spending hours on end reading or watching how things fly and what goes into making it all work together. Recently I have been working towards my private pilot license and just a few days ago completed my first solo flight. I am pushing my way through my training and am getting closer to having my full certificate.

Just after my first solo flight.

Rehearsal for Little Shop of Horrors

Along with all of this I spend a lot of my time doing theater and participating in the performing arts. I have been on stage since I was in preschool and have been in around 30 shows. I love the stage and giving a gift of enjoyment while telling a great story. My favorite roles being Mr. Green in Clue, Seymour Krelborn in Little Shop of Horrors, and Black Stache in  Peter and the Starcatcher. I’ve loved doing all of these shows and earlier this year getting deeper to learning the tech side of how a production is put on stage.

I would like to thank everyone who is supporting, teaching, and pushing me through my journey.
