Hello to everyone reading this! this was my last week of my internship. and although I had a really great time in Oklahoma I’m glad to be going home to my family. and if there was one thing that I miss from still water is the vending machines in the regional air port, that and the sunsets. on my last week I didn’t do a whole lot on Monday and Sunday. Tuesday we attempted to build our pvc drone race course, but due to a lack of structural integrity it didn’t stand on its own and fell apart. so we spent the rest of the day fixing other drones and soldering connectors on drone motors. Wednesday we worked on getting our drones airborne. for the first half of the day we got drones connected to our computers to use mission planer and controllers connected to the drones. and that was just the easy part. the second half of the day was getting the drones to actually work. when we got the drone kits there was no instructions on the orientation of the motors and when we realized this they were all ready on. so for about 3 hours it was mainly trial and error with getting the motors on right. I didn’t get enough time to finish getting it right but my drone got about a foot off the ground so that was cool. and that pretty much rapped things up. Thursday I got my plane tickets to go back home and spent the rest of the day packing and a little cleaning in the kitchen I was using. and then Friday I spent the day walking around town and shipped a few things that couldn’t fit in my luggage like my skate board. then when Saturday came my roommate parker dropped me off at the air port and I was on my way. now it wasn’t a strait flight from Stillwater to Denver there was a lay over in Dallas. so the first flight was pretty short, and one of the flight attendants complemented me on my banana shirt. when I got to Dallas I hopped on a train to get to my terminal, and to my delight after I got off there were vending machines. the ones in Stillwater were good but this one had oreos, best thing I had gotten all day. so after an oreo break I headed over to my terminal and hopped on the plane. the flight attendants were really nice on that plane to and complemented me on my banana shirt. after the plane had landed I met up with my dad and headed home. we did stop at a friends house in Edwards to spend the night, otherwise this concludes my trip. if I had learned any thing when living on my own its that groceries can get expensive.
