I learned so much this week. I learned the anatomy of a heart and vasculature. I can do sutures pretty well. I have been researching this rare tumor so I can write a case report for the cardio department. I have seen surgeries in every department and can say Cardiovascular surgery is my favorite. Something surprising was how long it takes to put patients to sleep. I was in a heart surgery where it took 2 hours. I have spent time in both the pediatric clinic and ENT outpatient center. I learned a lot about post-surgery care and rare disorders. Outside of my internship, I have been exploring Israel. I love the food and all the fun things to do. I saw the shrine of Báb which was so pretty.
