This is my last week here in Pullman, and I am very sad to go! I have really loved my time here and everything I have learned. The other day was the two year anniversary of the behavior service, so we had a cake made and lunch in honor of the work we do. “Changing behavior, Saving lives”.
This week we have had many patients, one of which is boarding with us for a few weeks. It is my job to begin his behavior modification training while he is here, so it has been amazing to work with a patient, see the changes that need to be made, and implement them.
Dr. Fanucchi is also a teacher here at WSU, so I have attended a few of her seminars (which I have greatly enjoyed). I will miss this work and the people I have met here, but I am so grateful to have gotten this necessary insight into the field of Veterinary Behaviorism!
