Jim Balog’s Emmy Award

For week 4 of my internship I have encountered the same problem, but I am making progress. Through my own code I have not yet gotten the simulator to communicate the correct output back to me, but I have downloaded some configuration modules from the internet that have helped me communicate with the simulator. Now, I just need to figure out how to implement that code into my own to hopefully get it to communicate with my code and get closer to completing my final project. Hopefully, I get a breakthrough soon because I still need to code the GUI for my project. However, outside of work has been fun as well. Everett, Jacob and I have been playing a lot of soccer and preparing for the upcoming season. We also, had dinner with the Jim and Suzanne Balog. Jim Balog was the man you directed and did the cinematography for Chasing Ice. His stories about his film and his interest in space was very intriguing and we all had a great time. He also won an Emmy for his work on Chasing Ice, and he let us hold it; although, it was surprisingly heavy!
