In “Fashion Engineering,” creativity meets cutting-edge technology! This all-girls STEM class invites students to design, prototype, and bring their fashionable ideas to life. Over the first three weeks, participants will learn about design processes such as tessellations and other key elements of pattern-making, using hands-on techniques to prototype their designs. During the final two weeks, students will take their designs from concept to reality by 3D printing their creations and assembling them into functional fashion pieces. Whether you’re dreaming of accessories, wearable art, or something entirely new, this class will help you engineer your vision and explore the exciting world where fashion meets technology!
