Hi, I’m Logan, and I’m from Telluride, Colorado. In the next couple of weeks, I will be continuing my internship in the chemistry department at the University of Houston.
Over the course of this week, a few of the other group members have made some progress on the prototype for the electrolytic cell that will be used for the project. Next week, we will start working on the final version, which will involve some minor changes, including glass blowing in order to add some tubes to the cell.

In the meantime, I have been learning to use a program called Mathematica, which is basically a more complicated graphing calculator, at least for my purposes. The reason I am learning to use it is to simplify the calculation process for determining the thickness of films from the values measured by the ellipsometer.
