Thank you for continuing to stick with me during these trying times! I’m already on week 7 of the internship, and I can’t believe it (partially because there were only originally meant to be 6 weeks)! This week was a BIG one for my internship, because I finally made contact with the person I’d like to interview about sugar beets. After considering many individuals and making exhaustive attempts at contacting different organizations, my toils finally bore fruit! For the sake of safety and privacy, I won’t reveal the name of the individual whom I have contacted yet, but I am very hopeful about what may come of this! Stick with me, because next week will likely be the week I conduct my Oral History collection.
On a personal note, today is my 17th birthday and I’m very pleased that I’ve been gifted with such a wonderful life thus far! I’ve also been busy with preparations for the marching band season, and with creating ideas for ways to help the world as I continue to get older…
