As I am moving into my third week at Mystic Seaport, I am sad that my time here is almost over, but happy about what I have accomplished. I have continued to help out at various museum stations such as the Toy Boat shop, the Art Spot, and many others, along with working at the Boathouse and continuing my research of ships plans. My recent projects have involved cataloging and organizing different boxes of
ships plans.

This past weekend was the WoodenBoat Show, an annual event at the Museum that attracts thousands of visitors. It was packed. The WoodenBoat Show brought in many different handcrafted wooden boats that varied in shape, size, and use. There was everything from racing boats to sailboats to rowboats. During this I got some time to explore the Museum and find some especially cool boats.

Tomorrow is my day off so I will most likely find my way to the ocean for some surfing and fishing, and after that I will be back for my final week of work here at Mystic Seaport.

Thanks again to Pinhead Institute, Elysa Engelman, and all the other people who have helped along the way!
