This week I started to build an airplane from a kit. I assembled the wings and did lots of research online to find the best battery and motor for the situation. The motor I chose was a 1950kv brushless outrunner motor. The battery was a li-poly 4.7v 20c battery.

During the week, we also researched different types of cameras to put on these UAVs. The cameras have to be light but with high resolution. We ultimately concluded that the GoPro camera was the best. Others had better resolution, but they had more of a curved lens which made a fisheye effect. Lastly, we started talking about a new project that encompasses placing infrared light cameras pointing at a drone to monitor its movements. It was mainly a research week, and I learned a lot.
