Marten: Week Six

The last week of my internship has passed. I had an amazing time with all the people that worked on the MinXSS project with me and the entire experience was very eye opening for me. I’m not going to give the day by day account this week because you have probably heard enough about what I do everyday. This internship put me in a position that I never could have gotten into at my age any other way. It was so incredible and I am thankful to everyone that made it possible. I spent my last week thinking about all the great times I had at the lab and realizing that I was going to have to go back to high school soon and although it will be nice to have fewer responsibilities and see my parents everyday I am still going to miss every second I spent in Boulder this summer. Everyone there was so amazing and kind to me and I hope someday I can pay them back. My last week I got taken out to lunch twice once with most of the people from the project then on my last day Sid showed me the CU’s main dining hall. Thank you to everyone who read my blog it really means a lot to know that people care about what I am doing and I hope what I wrote was at least intriguing. Thank you Pinhead for giving me an amazing summer. This is Marten Kendall signing off on my last blog post.
